Registration for the 18th Annual Health Education Advocacy Summit is now open!
Thank you for choosing to register for the Annual Health Education Advocacy Summit, October 15-17, 2016.
This year’s Summit will focus on strategies to advocate for our profession so that we can reach our desired outcomes in the current political climate.
While we have accomplished huge victories in sustaining the Affordable Care Act (ACA), we still have our work cut out for us. Current sequestration proposals could target prevention provisions in the ACA and cut public health education programs, resulting in job loss and hampering our school and community health education programs.
Let’s rally our collective voices to educate legislators and the administration on the value of continued investments in prevention – for improving lives, reducing health care costs, and contributing to a sound economy. Stand with us at the Health Education Advocacy Summit and be a part of the solution!
