Just a quick thought about the wonderful students who actively participated in the health education advocacy summit. Their enthusiasm and energy really rubbed off on us "experienced" health educators. For the first time, I facilitated student participation from two universities and the response from the students were extremely positive. They made a lasting mark on the event and hopefully, many will return for next year's summit. For future summits, I hope we can provide an increasing number of scholarships and encourage and support an expanded role in the summit planning for our future public health and health education leaders.
